Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Zealoq when you use the platform. We've kept it short on purpose.

1. Who we are

Zealoq is a career-verification marketplace operated by Zealoq Inc. (“Zealoq”, “we”, “our”). Senior practitioners (“Verifiers”) sell verification sessions to professionals (“Professionals”). Both groups are users of the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract to use Zealoq. By signing in, you confirm both.

3. Your account

  • One account per person. No sharing.
  • You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure.
  • Verifiers must complete our calibration process before being listed.
  • You may delete your account at any time from your settings.

4. Verification sessions

Verifiers run paid 1:1 sessions and produce a written verification report. The verifier is the author of the report and is solely responsible for its content. Zealoq does not warrant the accuracy of any single report; we vet verifiers and calibrate the rubric, but professional judgment is human.

5. Payments

85 / 15 split

Verifiers keep 85% of the session fee. Zealoq retains 15% as a marketplace fee. Refunds follow our cancellation policy.

Payments are processed by Stripe Connect.

6. Acceptable use

  • No harassment, discrimination, or abusive conduct.
  • No sharing of confidential employer information.
  • No recording sessions without consent of the other party.
  • No misrepresenting your identity or credentials.
  • No off-platform circumvention of fees after meeting through Zealoq.

Violations

May result in suspension or removal at our discretion.

7. Intellectual property

You retain rights to anything you submit (work samples, reports about you). Zealoq retains rights to the platform itself. Verification badges and reports are licensed to you for personal and professional sharing; you may not modify them.

8. Disclaimers and liability

Zealoq is provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee outcomes - including job offers, interviews, or specific feedback. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees paid in the prior 12 months.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g. payments owed, liability limits) survive termination.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. We’ll notify you by email of any material change. Continued use after the change is your acceptance.
