Verdict: passed — Project Management: Has good communication and negotiations skills.
Demonstrated the importance of client involvement for proejct success. Provided a good answer regarding escalation management. Shows logical thinking and good intuition. Understood some practical aspects of scope discussions / scope changes. Correctly mentioned factors that can influence proejct approach selection. The answers were often not structured. It was difficult to follow the thoughts. THere is a need to strengthen the understanding of fundamental project management terminology and concepts. Some definitions were mixed or inaccurate. Some answers became correct only after hints or follow up questions. Functional communication should be improved in addition to personal communication style. Points of improvement: 1. structured answers (problem > analysis > action > outcome). 2. strengthen PM fundamentals and understanding of terminology, 3. improve understanding of delivery approaches (in depth understanding and their application in different scenarios), contract models, planning processes. Risk Management: Understands what can cause risks. Suggested communication with the client when issues appear. The definitions of risk, issue, assumption and constraint were not clearly differentiated. Residual risks were not identified. Risk responses were mostly reactive instead of preventive. Learn the risk management process, the terms, impact of assumptions and constraints on the risks. Agile Metrics: Showed that metrics may reveal planning or estimation problems. Suggested backlog refinement activities when dsicussing backlog age. Learn the metrics (velocity, cycle and lead times, etc.), how they are visualized, how to interpret them. Understanding of Agile metrics was not sufficiently deep or analytical. There was a limited understanding of how metrics support forecasting and process improvement. Discovery Process: Showed good client-oriented communication approach. Understands the importance of building trust and emotional connection with the client. However, the answer was mostly focused on communication rather than discovery and proposal writing process itself. Important proposal components were missing. Improve understanding the discovery phase and proposal writing. Quality Management Tools: Understands the importance of acceptance criteria for delivery, as well as the importance of client involvement for understanding the expectations. The definitions of DoR and DoD were inaccurate. Acceptance criteria and DoD were not clearly differentiated. Strengthen the understanding of DoR, DoD, Acceptance criteria. Learn the concept of Quality Gates in IT.
